Farewell Open House

TODAY at 3:00pm in the Parlour

This is Pastor Brock and Diane’s last day with us and we are having a farewell get together today at 3:00pm so that we can send them on their way with an extra dose of love and prayer. We are extending an open invitation to the community since Brock and Diane have touched the lives of many people in Worland. If you are able to join us please bring a dessert or finger food to share.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

Help Needed

Mona Serna is moving Saturday, March 30 and we need the help of several able-bodied folks to help her. If you can help please meet at 2240 Washakie Ave at 8:00am.  For more information please contact Mona or Frank Ley.

Online Giving

Now that warmer weather is on the way, folks may be traveling and unable to come to church regularly. Our website has an online giving tab so that you can still donate whenever it is convenient for you. Donations can be made from your checking account or credit card and you can make one-time gifts or set up regular, automatic giving. You can go to www.fbcworland.org and click the Giving Tab to see step-by-step instructions. If you would like more information please contact the church office.

2 Chronicles 7:14 Prayer Group

Each Saturday, from now through April 20, folks are invited to meet for a non-denominational time of prayer. The group will meet at the Ministerial Assoc. Food Pantry, located at 620 Big Horn Ave. For more information please contact Frank Ley.

A Journey of the Heart (Stations of the Cross)

First Baptist Church Good Friday Service

April 19, 2019, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The word “station” comes from the Latin word that means to stand. Think of it as going on a walk; every point along the way where you would stop and pray is a station.

As you walk from one station to the next, your walking becomes a devotional act, because you are walking with Jesus as He walks to Calvary.

Each station includes:

Scripture reading

Image / Scene / Visual

Reflection (question, quote, or statement)

Action

First Baptist has the privilege to host the Good Friday Service; we as a church have a wonderful opportunity to come together and serve our community.

What we need from you, the congregation:

     + Prayer

     + Involvement / Serve

+ Help gathering materials needed for the stations

     + Attend the work day Saturday, March 30, 2019, 9:00 a.m.

+ The week of April 15-18 we will be working here at the

church putting the 15 stations together. Time not yet

        determined.

For more information please contact Sally Craft.

On the Media Center table we have sign-up sheets available along with our current sign-up for the 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting. All of this is to reach out to our city and bring the lost to Jesus.
